Routine Doctors Clinics

Daily clinics run from 8.30 to 11.30am and 3.00 to 6.00pm weekdays, there are some afternoon clinics that start at 1.30 and 2.00.

Late evening clinics on Mondays & Thursdays from 4.50pm to 7.40pm, pre-bookable appointments from 6.10 - 7.40 up to 2 weeks in advance. 

Saturday Clinic (one Saturday a month & one doctor only on rotation pre-booked appointments only)

Nurses Clinic

Daily Monday to Friday 8.30 - 11.30am and 2.00 - 6.00pm

Antenatal Clinic

Wednesday midwife clinic 9.15am - 12.15pm and 1.30 - 4.00pm
Postnatal Clinic Thursday morning 10.00 - 11.30am

Child Health Clinic

This is run on Thursday mornings between 9.00 and 11.30am, the duties being shared by health visitors, doctors and practice nurses. Weighing/measuring, child health checks, immunisations and advice can be obtained from all the health professionals. 

Minor Surgery Clinic

By appointment with a doctor, only 2 clinics held per month. Appointments sent out to patients on waiting list who have been referred by clinicians.  

Joint Injections

By appointment with the doctor.

Over 75 Annual Health Check

By appointment with the nurse.

Well Woman/Well Man Clinic

By appointment with the nurse.

16-74 Health Check

By appointment with the nurse.

Diabetic/Asthma Clinic

By appointment with the nurse, who will refer you to the doctor if necessary.

Ischaemic Heart Disease Clinic

By appointment with the nurse, who will refer you to the doctor if necessary.

Diet And Weight Clinic

By appointment with the nurse.

Smoking Cessation

By appointment with the practice nurse, or smoking cessation  counsellor.

Women"s Health, Menopause And Contraception 

By appointment with the doctor.

Chiropody

By appointment with the chiropody clerk based in the health centre.

Citizens Advice

By appointment only for patients of South Lewisham Group Practice only.

We currently run the following clinics to see a Citizens Advice advisor:

Debt Advice clinic every other week on a Monday morning from 10.30-12.30.

Normal Advice every other week on a Tuesday morning from 10.00-1.00.

Test Results

If you are requesting your result, please be prepared to wait at least a week or longer for some blood tests (x-rays can take up to three weeks).

Please call the surgery between 10.30 - 11.30am and 3.00 - 4.00pm for all results.

For reasons of confidentiality, results can only be given to the specific patient to whom they apply. Receptionists are instructed only to tell you the doctor"s comment on the result.

If any test is abnormal or you would like further discussion or interpretation, please make an appointment with your doctor.

Blood Test Clinic

The blood test clinics are run by Lewisham PCT and are held Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.15pm, no appointment necessary. If you are to have a glucose tolerance test please ring 020 30492500 to make an appointment. Please remember to carry out any special instructions given to you by your doctor. If you do not bring your blood test form with you, your blood test might not be done.

For all other clinics you will need to be referred by your doctor or other member of the health care team. Please enquire at reception for times.

Private Medical Services

Some services fall outside the remit of the NHS and for these a charge may be made. Examples are passport application signings, private sickness certificates, treating overseas patients, insurance medicals and writing letters of support. Fees and a full list of such services are posted at the reception counter.
