HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ?
To make an appointment with a doctor you should telephone the surgery on the day you need to be seen. Appointments for any time of the day morning or afternoon/evening can be make by calling 020 30492580 from 8am or by visitng the surgery in person.
Due to our large list size the appointments for the day are usually all booked by 9am. There will not be any afternoon/evening appointments available to book from 2.00pm onwards.
You are also able to pre-book an appointment up to 2 weeks in advance. There are only 5 pre-bookable appointments per dr per day. We also hold late evening clinics for workers/commuters on a Monday and Thursday evening where the last appointment is at 19.40, which are pre-bookable upto 2 weeks. Saturday morning surgery is held once a month and are pre-bookable appointments only for patients on a Chronic Disease Register. The surgery will not be open for any other services on a Saturday.
On-Line Appointment Booking
You can use Patient Access to book a doctors appointment on-line. There are a limited number of appointments available which can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. You can also view/cancel any appointments you have booked. To use this service you will need to come into the surgery or register on line, then you will be given pin information which you are to keep and use to register with Patient ACCESS. If you are already signed up for On-Line prescriptions you will automatically have access to this service. Please ask a Receptionist for further information. Nurses can be seen by appointment only & can be booked in advance. Nurse appointments are for Smears, Travel Advice, Diabetes/Asthma/COPD/Diet reviews, Well woman/man checks, CVD Health checks, Immunisations, Smoking cessation, Dressings, Ear Syringe, Removal of Stitches.
No appointment is needed for the following:
Medical Certificates, Letter/Form completing/signing, Repeat Medication ordering, Pregnancy Confirmation (self - test required then Self/appointment booked with the midwife). The receptionist will advise you on the actions that are need for these requests.
