Prescriptions
If you are on regular medication you may obtain repeat prescriptions with the doctor’s agreement. Please allow two working days for the issuing of repeat prescriptions, this excludes weekends and bank holidays.
Only written requests are accepted for the ordering of medication. You can send your request via email to LEWCCG.modlewprescriptions@nhs.net who is our prescription coordinator and will process your request or pass it onto a doctor. Or via using the online services as shown below.
Many local chemists operate a order & collection scheme. Please ask your chemist or the reception staff about this.
Online Prescriptions - Emis Access
You can sign up for electronic Repeat Prescription Ordering, Appointment booking/cancellation, and medical record viewing via Patient Access using a PC or tablet that is connected to the internet. If you wish to use this service you must first visit the surgery taking photo ID with you and sign a consent form, a information leaflet will also be given to you telling you what the service is for and how to register. A member of staff will then enrol you Via Emis to use this service, and print off a PIN document which you will need to register as a user of Patient Access. Online Prescriptions - No registration required
If you are not registered for the Emis Access system as yet, you can send us your repeat prescription via the online form below. We suggest that the next time you visit the surgery ask a reception about the registration process and you can then use the Emis Access facilities available

From time to time your doctor may request you to make an appointment to have your medication reviewed - please check for messages/due dates on your repeat prescription slip.
